For Year 7 admission, a pupil must be assessed as suitable for grammar school through the Kent Procedure for Entry to Secondary Education (Kent Test / PESE) and parents must name Invicta Grammar School on the Secondary Common Application Form. The school states it is not super-selective.
Exam dates and admissions evidence
For September 2026 entry, the Secondary Common Application Form deadline was 31 October 2025. National Offer Day was Monday 2 March 2026. To remain on the waiting list, parents had to notify the local authority by Thursday 19 March 2026. A further round of allocations was due on Thursday 23 April 2026.
