QEGS Penrith says all Year 7 applicants for September 2027 must register for the school entrance test by 12 July 2026 and also submit a local-authority secondary preference form by 31 October 2026. The 2027 policy sets a PAN of 160 and requires every applicant to reach the required standard in the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School entrance test.

Exam dates and admissions evidence

QEGS Penrith publishes 2027-entry key dates as registration opening on Friday 1 May 2026, Open Evening on Tuesday 23 June 2026 from 5pm to 8pm, application deadline on Sunday 12 July 2026, and entrance test day on Thursday 17 September 2026. The 2027 policy also confirms the local-authority deadline of 31 October 2026, says late-test and post-allocation testing can take place in February 2027 in the circumstances set out by the policy, and National Offer Day is 1 March 2027.
