Entry requirements
Gravesend Grammar School requires pupils joining at the start of Year 7 to be successful in the Kent Test. Parents then complete the Kent secondary application form and list schools in preference order.
Exam dates and admissions evidence
The Year 7 admissions page says Kent Test registration is completed online in June of Year 5, the test is sat in the following September, and results are given to parents in October. The open days page adds that Kent Assessment decisions are emailed after 4pm on Thursday 16 October 2025 and the deadline for secondary application forms is 31 October 2025. The school also states that it does not require a supplementary form except for children in receipt of Pupil Premium.
