Dr Challoner?s High School uses the Buckinghamshire secondary transfer testing process for normal Year 7 admissions. Children sit two test papers in the autumn before admission and need a secondary transfer test score of 121 or above to qualify automatically for a grammar school place, subject to the school admissions policy.
Exam dates and admissions evidence
The admissions process page states that for the September 2026 intake the registration window opened in early May 2025 and closed on 13 June 2025, the STT took place on 11 September 2025, results were issued on 10 October 2025, and SIF2 for Year 7 2026 had to be received by 29 November 2025. The same page also states that for September 2027 entry, the SIF2 link will open from 1 October 2026 and the deadline for first-round allocations will be the end of the school day on 30 November 2026.
