The King?s School says entry to Year 7 is determined through the Lincolnshire Consortium of Grammar Schools testing process. The school page states that the qualification is a total standardised score of at least 220 across the two tests and that this does not by itself guarantee admission to an individual school.
Exam dates and admissions evidence
The official 2027 entry page says registration opened on Friday 9 January 2026 and closed on Tuesday 31 March 2026, with late registration reopening on Friday 1 May 2026. The consortium letter states that the Verbal Reasoning test will take place on Saturday 12 September 2026 and the Non-Verbal Reasoning and Spatial Awareness test on Saturday 19 September 2026.
