Royal Latin School states that Year 7 applicants for September 2027 must be academically qualified through the Buckinghamshire Secondary Transfer Test and then apply through the Buckinghamshire coordinated admissions process. The school page makes clear that Royal Latin is a selective grammar academy and that Year 7 testing is administered centrally by Buckinghamshire Council.
