Terms of Use
These terms cover the MySchoolHub website, its public API, its MCP server for AI assistants (www.myschoolhub.co.uk/api/mcp), the Schools in England GPT and the MySchoolHub for Rightmove Chrome extension. By using any of them you accept these terms.
Information, not advice
MySchoolHub brings together public information about schools in England to help families research them. It is not admissions, legal, financial or property advice. Last distances offered and other cut-offs describe past years only; they change every year and never guarantee a place. Always check a school's admission arrangements and apply through your council.
Where the data comes from
Data comes from the Department for Education, Ofsted, councils' published admissions figures, HM Land Registry and other public sources listed on the data and methodology page. Public sector information is used under the Open Government Licence v3.0 and each source keeps its own licence and attribution. We work to keep it accurate and current, but sources can contain errors or lag behind changes, so we cannot promise that every figure is complete or correct.
Using the service
You may use MySchoolHub for personal research and to share links to its pages. Please don't:
- copy the site or its data in bulk, or crawl it in a way that degrades the service for others;
- try to get around rate limits or access controls, or disrupt the service;
- present MySchoolHub figures as official council or government decisions.
The API and MCP server are free to use within their rate limits. We may limit or block traffic that breaks these terms.
AI assistants
When you use MySchoolHub through ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant, the assistant decides how to phrase our answers. Check important figures on the school's MySchoolHub page, which the assistant should link to. The assistant provider's own terms also apply.
Availability and liability
MySchoolHub is provided free and as is. We may change, pause or withdraw any part of it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made using the service or for any loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
How we handle data is set out in the privacy policy.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. They are governed by the law of England and Wales.
